My Background

I grew up in a very close knit, athletic family where the values of hard work, service to others, and most importantly teamwork were instilled upon us.  It is hard to balance work and family – especially in this time of the pandemic.  By working together we can get closer to the peace and serenity that most of us are looking for.

My experience includes treating both adults and children with mental health disorders in the in patient hospital setting, clinic and in private practice.  I spent time as an Associate Professor at a local nursing college teaching students in both the clinic and classroom setting, working on an inpatient unit, in private practice and at a clinic. Prior to my nursing career I was a coach of rowing at a major DI University.  My life experience has taught me that we do better when we help each other.  Call to schedule an initial evaluation!

My Approach

My passion is people.  Life is a journey that comes with ups and downs and every person has their own unique story.  Reaching out in regards to mental health concerns is met with an attached stigma, making it even more difficult to do what is necessary to reach and maintain stability. I strive to create a safe and inviting environment to explore these challenges without judgement.
